- To setup the DLI 8300's function keys and buttons, use "Setup Keys…" found by clicking on the DLI 8300 KeyMon software icon found in the system tray.

- Data is received on com 1 at a baud rate of 9600 from the DLI8300's internal GPS.
9. DLI 8300. My application is written for 1024 x 768 screen resolution, will the DLI8300 display at this resolution?
- Yes, the DLI8300 will display at 1024x768. To change the DLI8300's screen resolution to 1024 by 768: Launch Display Properties from Control Panel,
select the Settings tab, move the Screen resolution slider to 1024 by 768 and click Apply.
- NOTE: To optimize clarity while viewing with 1024x768 resolution on an 8.4" display, Data Ltd recommends making the following changes in the Display Properties: On the Appearance tab, click the Advanced button. In Advance Appearance; for each item listed in the "Items:" drop down menu that have a required font, change the item's font to "System" and click OK.
- There are eight items in all that have a required font. Last, click Apply in the Display Properties window.
10. DLI 8300. How do I access the DLI8300's PCMCIA card slots?
- To access the DLI 8300fs PCMCIA card slots, remove the two small screws found on the door located on the back of the unit at the upper left corner.
