The DLI 8300 paired with our Vehicle Mounting Cradle (VMC) represents the ultimate in-vehicle computing solution. This unique accessory allows the DLI 8300 Rugged Tablet to easily transitions in and out of the vehicle while maintaining full wireless communications functionality.

The VMC provides a host of IP67-rated sealed ports including (2) locking USB ports, (2) RF pass-thru, (1) Ethernet, and (3) RS232 / RS485 port. The unit's back-mounted RAM´® ball allows for easy installation and operation of the DLI 8300 no matter what the vehicle.

Desktop Cradle provides a convenient docking station for your DLI 8300, placing it at the perfect angle for optimum readability. The Desktop Cradle provides a front loading battery charger, AC power, (1) Ethernet and (2) USB ports so you can connect to your favorite peripherals.

3-Bay Battery Charger re-energizes 3 up to 3 Extended Batteries in as little as 2 hours. This "toaster-style" charging unit uses the same AC power supply as the DLI 8300.

Backlit Industrial Keyboard is IP64 rated and packs a full QWERTY layout into its innovative small foot print. USB powered via a locking USB cable, the backlit keys provide seven levels of user controllable intensity.

"Grab-n-Go" Padded Work Bag is ideal for the mobile worker who is on the move. The DLI 8300 rests safely inside of this padded softcase which includes room for a cigarette power adapter and slimline USB keyboard. A pair of adjustable built-in "legs" allow you to position your DLI 8300 at just the right viewing angle no mater where you work takes you.

Extended Battery used in conjunction with the internal battery provides 5 hours of up time - even when running all three wireless radios and screen at full brightness. The lightweight lithium-ion battery recharges in only 2 hours.

Extended Battery Cover fills the space normally occupied by the Extended Battery when left unused. The cover provides sealed protection thus maintaining the unit's IP rating.

3-battery Charging Cable is the perfect solution to charging batteries on the go. This handy 3-battery charger uses the same AC power supply as all DLI accessories and DLI 8300 Rugged Tablet.

Shoulder Case brings added protection, convenience and comfort to the DLI 8300. Available with either a clear, touch-screen-sensitive vinyl screen cover or a flip-away padded cover, the Shoulder Case comes equipped with both a carrying handle and shoulder strap.

Padded Hand Strap keeps the DLI 8300 "close at hand" for those application that require continual hand held use. Fully adjustable, this X-style strap can comfortably accommodate hands big and small.

The standard I/O ports and connections are just the beginning of what the VMC provides. J1708/J1939 and ODBII connections are available via our exclusive Vehicle CAN-Bus port allowng the DLI 8300 to "pull" from a vehicle's Engine Control Unit (ECU) a wide range of data including:

• Speed
• Braking patterns
• Hours of operation
• Idle -time

The Vehicle Mounting Cradle can also
be configured with up to (9) GPIO connections allowing the control and monitoring of any number of vehicle functions including ignition sensors, trailer detachment, temperature readings, accelerometer and more.

The VMC's CAN-Bus interface easily connects to industrial equipment making the DLI 8300 ideal for machine control, field diagnostics and monitoring.

An optional RS-485 port can connect the DLI 8300 to a variety of RS-485 addressable devices including:

• motor drives and more
